My Dividends

I haven't received my dividend cheque or payment. How do I follow this up? Can you send me a replacement cheque?

Please call our Share Registry on 1 300 55 44 74 or (03) 9615 9999 to find out the status of your dividend payment or to request a cancellation and reissue your payment (charges may apply).

Future payment can be made directly to your Australian bank, building society or credit union account. Direct payments are credited to your account as cleared funds, allowing you to access them on the payment date. For more information on direct credit payments and changing your details see the question: 'How do I update my details or instructions?’ (link to this document)

I've lost my dividend payment advice forms and need them for tax. How can I get these replaced?

You can view your payment history online via our Share Registry.

If you require replacement statements to be sent to you, please put your request in writing and forward it to the share registry (charges may apply).

Can I receive Atlas dividends as shares instead of cash? How do I participate in Atlas’ Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DPR)?

Atlas has a dividend reinvestment program which means shareholders can elect to reinvest their dividend payment in Atlas shares instead of receiving cash. You can elect for all or only a portion of your shares to participate in the DRP.

The shares are usually issued at a discount to an average price which is calculated prior to the dividend being paid.

Please contact our share registry on 1 300 55 44 74 or (03) 9615 9999 and they will send you the appropriate election form.

Alternatively you can download and complete the following form.

What are the terms and conditions of the Dividend Reinvestment Plan?

You can download a copy of the Dividend Reinvestment Plan Rules by clicking here.

In which tax year do I report my dividends?

Dividends must be declared in the same tax year in which they are paid. The Australian tax year commences 1 July each year and ends 30 June. You will find all the payment information required to complete your annual tax return (e.g. franked amount, imputed tax credits, net payment, etc.,) on your payment advices.

Please note that taxation will vary depending on your own personal circumstances. You should seek advice from your personal financial adviser or accountant. Tax laws may change over time and the summary above is a broad overview only. It is for information purposes only.

What happens to dividends I haven't received?

You can obtain details of unpresented cheques for your shareholding by calling our share registry on 1 300 55 44 74 or (03) 9615 9999.

For recent payments, shareholders can request cancellation and reissue of payment (charges may apply). If the original cheques were bank cheques, the registry will require your request in writing.

Payments made more than two years ago may be advertised in the Government Gazette and if not claimed, will be forwarded to Unclaimed Moneys. Please contact the registry for details on contacting Unclaimed Moneys.
